Mark Ashworth
The marketer who ships.
I've lived and worked in Asia for over 25 years, mostly from Singapore, where I landed in 2001. I call myself a nomad rather than an expat.
I've built and exited startups in edtech and telecoms. I headed data analytics for TripAdvisor's expansion into Asia, and I built most of the Singapore government's infrastructure for searching intellectual property.
Today I lead product marketing and go-to-market at Shootsta, a video platform used by enterprise teams across four continents. Before that I was Head of Product at Geniebook, where I took a small product to a company that raised more than $20m from top-tier investors.
Nights and weekends, I build small internet businesses with Laravel and AI, then do the part most builders skip: I market them myself, in public.
